PCF Group chief executive steps down


PCF Group PLC (LON:PCF) said that Scott Maybury has informed the board that he is stepping down as chief executive with immediate effect.

Chief Operating Officer Garry Stran will assume the role of CEO on an interim basis while the specialist lender looks for a replacement it said a statement.

Tim Franklin, chairman, added: “The board and I would like to thank Scott for his significant contribution to PCF throughout his 26 years with the Group and wish him every success in the future.”

PCF asked for its shares to be temporarily suspended on Wednesday while it carried out a further review in relation to its financial controls and reporting processes.

“This work is progressing and a further announcement including regarding the timing of the full-year results will be made in due course,  the A(M-listed company’s statement on Wednesday said.
